Instruction export portfolio (collection) eJournal

Updated on

Since we are transitioning to the new e-portfolio system Portflow on September 1, 2025, it is important to retrieve your content from eJournal if you wish to keep it. Make sure to do this before September 1, 2025.

You can export your portfolio from eJournal. This will generate a folder containing a clickable PDF of your portfolio, including any feedback you have received (if you chose so). Additionally, the folder will contain all files you have uploaded to your portfolio.
Any attachments added to an assessment will unfortunately need to be downloaded separately. See the bottom of this page for instructions.

Have you worked in multiple portfolios? Then you need to export each portfolio separately.

How to export your portfolio?

  • Click on the three dots next to the title of your portfolio.
  • Click on "Export collection".
  • Choose whether you want to download your entire portfolio (full collection) or only a specific part. You can also select whether to include feedback from your teachers. Then, click "Export collection".
  • Within a few minutes, you will receive an email with a link to download your portfolio.

Note! Any attachments added to an assessment will unfortunately need to be downloaded separately.

You can download them by:

  • clicking the three dots next to the file name and selecting ‘Download’ or ‘Download as PDF’, or
  • clicking directly on the file name; a ‘Download’ button will then appear at the bottom.
