Instructors will communicate important course-related announcements via Announcements. These are directly visible on the course homepage. By clicking the cross in the top-right corner, you can dismiss an Announcement, which archives the message (it is not possible to completely delete an Announcement). If you accidentally dismiss an Announcement and want to restore it, you can easily do so via the Announcements Tool.

1. Click on the arrow behind Announcements.
2. Click on Go to Announcements Tool

On Announcements, you will find an overview of all messages. At a glance, you can see the start date of the posts your instructor has made and easily view or remove/restore them on your course homepage.

Click on the arrow behind an announcement to:

• View it (View).
• Remove it or restore it on the course homepage (Dismiss from widget/Restore). A dismissed announcement will have (dismissed) next to it.

Click on Notifications to manage your notifications.
