How do I submit a video?

When you need to submit a video for an assignment, follow these steps. First, locate the correct assignment. You can find an overview of the assignments under Course Tools > Assignments.

Click on the assignment where you want to submit the video. You will then see the screen shown below.

Depending on the settings your instructor has configured for the assignment, you may also see the options 'Add a File', 'Record Audio', and 'Record Video'.
You do not need to use these options.

You can add a video to an assignment via Insert Stuff > Kaltura Submission For Students. Want to upload a new video from your computer? Click on + Add New > Media Upload. Already have a video in Kaltura? Select it using Embed.

In both cases, make sure the metadata (required fields) of the video are filled in. If the required metadata is missing, you won’t be able to submit the video through Kaltura.

If you're uploading a new video, first check the box I agree and then scroll down. Click Choose a file to upload to select your video.

Next, fill in the information marked with *Required To Publish. Then click on Save and Embed.

The video will be added to the text box. To submit the video, click on Submit.
